Issue resolved.
Dear Customer,
Following last week’s SSE power outages, we experienced intermittent loss of service to some of our customers in your area. Following several visits to site, we’ve now had to replace all equipment at two locations in order to fully restore service. We believe that the repeated SSE power on/off sequences had created large spikes which damaged some radio equipment and it was unable to maintain its links to the network.
We appreciate that outages are hugely disruptive and frustrating to our customers. Despite our best efforts, we are sometimes affected by third party issues and it is not always easy to quickly resolve problems.
We believe that the issue is now fully resolved and we hope that your service is now working without issue. If you have any ongoing problems, please call us and do not adjust your local equipment.
Regards,
Scotnet

Works are expected to last for around 3 hours.
All of the failures due to the storm have been resolved by SSE.
An issue affecting the radio connection identified at Cranmore House has been resolved, this was also affecting customers supplied from it.
Service was restored at 0950 13/09/2021.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Kind regards
Scotnet

An indirect lightening strike on Monday afternoon caused a loss of power to Daviot, resulting in a service failure for those customers East of Daviot. The power issue was resolved at 9am on 6/8/19.
Whilst we have battery back-ups, they ultimately ran flat before we were able to resolve the power issue.
We apologise for the loss of service to those affected.
We are pleased to confirm that the network is now live, and we’ve connected the first customers!
Due to the intitial volume of orders, we expect to connect people within 28 days of ordering. Once we have cleared the intial back-log, we would expect installations to be completed within 2 weeks.
Most people should be able to receive a service now, however some properties may require a little extra work. A survey will be completed with each new order.
Thank you for all your patience and support, and we look forward to bringing high-speed broadband to you very soon!
We are pleased to report that the network build is progressing very well, with 12 of 16 masts now erected. The remaining 4 masts will be completed by the end of next week. Final cabling and radio installations will take place in early April. We expect to start taking orders in around 2 weeks time. Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to bring super-fast services to Strathnairn very soon!
Here is an example of the lattice style masts we’re using. This one sits up above Achnabat.
